Tel-Hai Leadership Goes National

College President Professor Yona Chen and Managing Director Yossi Malka have recently been elected to chair the national Committee of Public College Heads. They will man this important position for the coming two years. The Committee of Public College Heads is the umbrella organization for Israel's 21 public academic colleges, and provides a platform for the development of joint policies on a variety of issues. The Committee represents the colleges in the Knesset and the Council for Higher Education, and it formulates position papers, leads conferences, and more.

The Committee of Public College Heads was founded in 2006. Its executive board includes the 21 presidents of participating colleges, and its general assembly is made up of three representatives from each college: the president, managing director, and vice-president for academic affairs.
